on a new leaf...

Malls -we all know about such places by now ,probably because they tend to pop up at the most busiest junctions in the city.
Inorbit mall is one such example ,its truly a one shop stop for all your needs, be it groceries, clothes, food, gaming gadgets, electronic gizmos (sigh!!!)

But ofcourse each of the above with its own hefty price tag.I have been to inorbit many times , what i was not aware of is the fact that, this time there will be a slight change ,frankly speaking inorbit is one place where i prefer to stick my tongue out and wag my tail like a dog while looking at the showcase windows of the varied shops in the mall, literally begging at the cookie shops for one more sample of that delicious chocolate cream dipped cookie chip.

Ah!! anyways ,

As i was walking along gazing at the shops ,i came across a display of paintings , these paintings looked pretty simple in nature they did not hide anything ,revealed exactly what the painter thought of while drawing it, which could somehow be interpret very easily ,because they sure seemed logical and could be related to with ease- things like night life in the city ,greenery after the first shower of rain, women working in the village were conveyed by them as if they had the power to speak to people.

Although i never understood paintings very much or probably never made an effort to bother about such things, but this set of paintings however was of a different style ,a unique example in itself.Below it were a few words about the person who drew it "Paintings by Shashank Mittal from The Doon School,Dehradun".The name suggested to me that he must be a big time painter in his early forties.
Surrounding the gallery at one end were a bunch of boys talking amongst themselves,so with the thought of commenting at the paintings, i looked for the visitors log , and i asked one of the boys as he came forward ,since i looked curious "so you are looking after paintings eh?" he replied yes, so i asked him do you know the painter and he said "i am the painter, i am Shashank mittal"
jee i had never met a painter before ,so i was a bit enthralled by seeing his confidence and i did my best to encourage him further by admiring his work.

Thats how the conversation began and it so turned out that, he was otherwise a regular guy studying in XII std. (science stream) aspiring to get into the N.I.D.(National Institute of Design) in Ahmedabad .
I wished him the best for his dreams and goals and i told him that he would definitely get into the N.I.D.

And so for the first time i left inorbit by taking home something unique and yet free of cost- i.e. some of his paintings in my camera phone.

Heroes....

its a new series on cnbc hdtv....kinda really cool though..ordinary people developin special powers due some mutations in their DNA....usin their powers to save the world and stuff...

kinda sounds pretty comical and of X-men origin...but has been presented in really cool way on the small screen..

the guy above is my favorite character from the series his name is Hiro Nagamura...a guy who can bend space and time...go back in time and correct things ..set a few things in a way which would be more pleasant and desirable...warn people about the consequence in the future of their present action..

the only one thing he could not stop from happening ..is the murder of his best friend Charlene..who was a very pretty lookin waitress at a stop-by-motel...later he realises that death is inevitable...no matter however hard he tried he could stop her from dying by murder....coz nature had already givin her a brain clot....

meddling with time has always been my dream wish...obviously such a thing doesnt exist
..but i love giving it a thought whenever i see those clock hands movin ..time doesnt exist in any physical form..it jus there..lookin at us ...starin...like a watcher..non interferring whether in grief or joy, not sayin a word about whats gonna happen next..

lazyyyy....sleep and the workzzzzz..

oh yeah..can go on about this for hours together....been lazy wherever i have been ....be it in the school days ..or junior college or the engg. college..or as a matter of fact even this blog..i am posting after about a month or so..shii even lazy enuf to cut short words and to try and think to type less..and skip some extra typin..

i do pretend to be enthu sumtimes..it happens only when my brain realises "holy moly i forgot to switch on the dopamine dump"..and ther u go i wake to my senses ..make my self aware whether its the darn college bench ..or my pillow
..kiddin:p
but i do tht only when i want to be more lazy or so that i can get a wholesome sleep with loads of loud snoring ..to let the whole world know tht i am sleepin and if any one ever bothers to wake me up
he/she is gonna sound jus like my snoring does..

now thts one of the reasons why no one bothers to wake me up while i am gulping down the huge bouts of slumber..sleep..and laziness

no alarms are of any help..if thers anything that really gets me on my feet are the nightmares which i tend conjure up at times!!(sem7 results are on their way!!)

frankly speakin i sleep so that my brain can get some rest.....coz in my line of work it really needs to be active u see, thinkin for time slots for dozing off... makin plans for a wholesome nighty night isnt childs play now is it?..

where's the good gone.....

life is a matter of choices which are made in the present ...and what we reap in are its aftereffects which may occur in the future..or even probably in the next moment....u jus never know..

passivity is taking its toll.. offlate there have been many disturbing events...the dr.ambedkar issue in kanpur.....
....students deciding to end their lives...domestic violence is on the rampage...something very bad is awakening from its deep slumber..is this just the start...

casteism....dowry......psychological torchure...are 'nt we living in the 21st century then why do people who are quite educated behave like this ,resort to such idiotic measures....
are there no things such as moral fibre, compassion, love, positivity, peace left in them have they forgotten what is to live, to love and to give ...or will such things now be found only in storybooks ...

why has the good been left so far behind....has it gone completely...vanquished.....or will these people have to be reminded of it...gandhigiri for instance did leave some good things on these minds.....sadly it doesnt take long for us to forget it all....are we really so busy that there is no moment to stand and think for a second about wat we just did....agreed that life goes on and we must take it in the stride and move along....and in the fear of being left behind in this fast pace world
we jus dont stand and stare anymore do we?....or will the good rise up in the last burp of nemesis
when there is nothing left to look forward to....?

peace.....

some have egos and some have the capacity to take on the things with a smile on their faces ....really strong such people are.....ego is like a fence, like a brick wall

all round ourself ,so as to allow things as per our own convinience...i hate to admit it but i have ego...and truckloads of it..i guess it comes with being a bong ....i tend to stick to the silliest things for long time....

recently had a misunderstanding with a friend...mainly because my stupid ego kept fuelling me with doubt....which in turn made me as cranky as a caveman... ABOOOGA BOOOOGA!!!!!

behaving as weirdly as possible to dump my frustration.

but i guess life has its own way of teaching certain things and thats how cavemen like me evolve..

so,i just thought of ignoring my ego for sometime...and give a ping to my long gone missing friend..spoke for some ten minutes..but felt really cool after that.

i guess it means ego is worth nothing....so i guess from now on i ll find a bin to dump it in..if it ever crops up again

if you have ever had a fight with someone or a friend...and thers this stupid thing in you bothering to much...just tell it to take a hike...do the ABOOOOGA ABOOGA!!!
if you have to...and just speak to that person...its never to late with friends....
smiles....
